*new prints for sale

04/10/2009 by evhcreative

Hi all,

Quick story about the new images I am selling on Etsy…

I have a ‘bowl of mystery film’, it’s basically random rolls of film that I shoot over the years and never get processed. Whether it’s lack of memory or money, for some reason, it just happens. Lucky for me though, I work at a photographic lab that still does film processing!

The last batch I had processed was possibly from about 2002-2003. I vaguely remember walking around the cemetery with my Brownie Camera and my boyfriend at the time and convinced him to walk around with a big purple velvet cape I had made. (good thing the photos are b&w) :) Anyhow, this has been the one of the cooler mystery films ever!

Prints are available on Etsy….

* another rainy day

24/09/2009 by evhcreative

It’s a lovely Melbourne day – raining like crazy!

Today’s Comforts :
Bad coffee, chocolate covered teddy bear biscuit (thanks Aida!), My Morning Jacket, and portable heaters to warm cold toes.

And – Font Game!

I’ve been working on my new website lately. I always forget how tedious this is. But it’s a good chance for me to look back and see a lot of my old work… and it makes me realise how much I miss shooting with film.

* sunday – creative spaces with Power Tools!

21/09/2009 by evhcreative

More updates…

I started trying to mount some smaller prints for Etsy. I got to use Jacob’s power tools! After trying to cut down about 7 pieces of 100mm x 100mm MDF and breaking the band saw, I realised that we may need some nicer tools… Doh! Leave it to me to break a burly as metal blade in a big old piece of machinary!

* saturday

21/09/2009 by evhcreative

Ok, sorry for the massive amount of random update posts!

The whole story is as such – my Macbook died about a day after I got my new mega pc. :( I was almost 2 weeks without any interweb at home. HELLO WITHDRAWL!!! Anyway, on Friday, Jacob had a day off and was able to crawl under the house amungst the dirt, cobwebs, broken glass, random animal poo (yuck!) and drill into the flooring and hardwire up my new computer! (how can you NOT love him!!!)

So now it’s time to play catch up!

Saturday was quite eventful for most of the day. Duncan and Jacob felt the need to build something… so they built the ‘Kubb Bench’. They found all sorts of scrap wood under the house and used a couple random old tree stumps around the yard.

Recycling at it’s best!!

And done!

Perfect for for playing Kubb and beers!! And Timmy loves it too :)

And, some garden updates – Peas a plenty! and our capsicums are turning a lovely shade of red!

I finally planted my chamomile seeds too!! Can’t wait for those!!

* north melbourne

21/09/2009 by evhcreative

Walking to meet Jacob and Timmy for agility training (yes, our dog is going to be the agililty master!!) I had some time to wander around bits of North Melbourne. I couldn’t help but take this shot. It’s very circa 1978. Fantablous!
